We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Full name, email address, and mobile number at registration
• Profile information including work experience, education, skills, and CV documents
• Company name, contact details, and job posting content for employers
• Payment information processed securely through PayHere (we do not store card details)
• Communications you send us via email or through the platform

We also collect data automatically when you use our platform, including device information, IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account on JobMo
• Match job seekers with relevant job opportunities using AI
• Allow employers to review applicant profiles and CVs
• Process payments for job postings and premium features
• Send transactional emails including OTP verification, invoices, and application updates
• Improve our platform and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations under the laws of Sri Lanka

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Employers and Applicants: Applicant profile information is visible to employers when you apply for a job. Employer company information is visible to applicants.
• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers including Supabase (database), Resend (email), PayHere (payments), and Vercel (hosting) strictly to operate our platform.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

CV files and uploaded documents are stored in secure cloud storage. NIC verification photos submitted for date of birth change requests are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after admin review.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing

JobMo uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and platform functionality. We also use Google Analytics to understand platform usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.

JobMo is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately at hello@jobmo.lk.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
